Bullying can be subtle. Schadenfreude is a form of bullying.
- Not offering a comment or suggestion, quietly hoping that another person’s efforts will fail – this is bullying.
- Showing favoritism or making unfair comparisons, diminishing another person’s self-worth – this is bullying.
- Choosing the easiest path at someone else’s expense, not supporting those who need it because it’s easier for you – this is bullying.
A lack of action, based in fear, is bullying.
The opposite of bullying is fast, decisive, helpful action.
